Niigata University held a briefing session on Study in Japan at Niigata University for Indonesian university students online on Tuesday, December 1.
The Six National Universities Network, consisting of Niigata University, Chiba University, Kanazawa University, Okayama University, Nagasaki University, and Kumamoto University has jointly promoted international collaborative activities, and the joint office in Surabaya, Indonesia was established in AY 2020 led by Kumamoto University. On the day, the online ceremony for the office was held, followed by the briefings on Study in Japan by the six universities for approximately 300 university students in Indonesia.
As a representative of our university, Prof. Nozomu TSUBOI, the Vice President for Global Engagement gave a presentation on introductions to Niigata city, and Niigata University as well as a guide to studying at Niigata University. The following message from Mr. Reza Kurniawan Arta, an Indonesian PhD student of Graduate School of Medical and Dental Sciences, Niigata University was conveyed in the end of the presentation, and the participants eagerly listened.
We will make use of our global network to further promote student exchange programs.
Sebagai seorang individu, saya sangat berfokus pada tujuan akhir saya. Terdapat banyak factor yang dapat mendistraksi fokus kita terhadap tujuan tersebut. Faktor yang paling berdampak terhadap seorang individu adalah lingkungan. Berbicara dari perspektif seorang mahasiswa asing di Niigata, lingkungan kota ini menyuguhkan kemajuan teknologi yang sama baiknya dari perfektur favorit turis lainnya, tempat hiburan yang cukup namun tidak berlebihan, dan ketenangan serta keteraturan kota Niigata, yang membuat suasana menjadi kondusif untuk menunjang produktivitas kerja, di karenakan oleh kurangnya distraksi. Kota ini pun menyuguhkan originalitas kultur jepang, sejarah, dan juga objek wisata yang menarik, sehingga menuntut ilmu di Niigata sangat saya sarankan untuk mahasiswa yang mencari perspektif yang berbeda dari Jepang.
