The infection situation about COVID-19 is settling down, as preventive measures against the novel coronavirus such as a state of emergency have been lifted throughout the country, and a state of warning has been lifted in Niigata Prefecture. The number of new cases, however, continues to be detected, and we ask you to abide by the following rules and take thorough basic preventive measures against the virus. If the situation about COVID-19 deteriorates in the future, we will implement stronger measures to contain the spread of the infection.

1. ?Please continue to make sure to take basic preventive measures such as wearing a mask and disinfecting your fingers and hands.
2. If you notice any changes in your health condition, such as having a fever and feeling unwell, please refrain from coming to the university or participating in extracurricular activities, and be sure to visit a medical institution as soon as possible.
3. ?Take extra caution and basic preventive measures to contain further spread of infection when you move in and out of Niigata prefecture, including when returning home or making a trip, and try to grasp the situation of infection in the destination.
4. When having a gathering party, please attend it for the shortest possible time with the limited number of people as much as possible, and take thorough measures to prevent further spread of the infection. When eating out, please use the restaurants which take thorough preventive measures against COVID-19, and be alert to the increased risk of infection, especially when dining together with your classmates and colleagues, or drink together in the same room including dormitories and apartment buildings.
