Niigata University is to introduce Seat Management System (Mamoru Biz) from April 8, 2021 as part of prevention measures against the spread of the novel coronavirus infections.
By using this system (*), in the event that a student is found to have been infected with the new coronavirus infection, information such as the seat sat by the student will be used to identify the person who has had close contact with the infected person, and to disinfect the related facilities immediately.
When taking face-to-face classes and online classes in lecture rooms, we ask all students for their cooperation as follows.
1. To use this system, you need to install the Mamoru Biz App on your mobile devise, such as smartphone or tablet, and obtain user verification. You can install the App by scanning the QR codes indicated here.
2. You will receive "Mamoru Biz Invitation Mail" by e-mail. Scan the QR code shown in the invitation.
That’s all you have to do for your preparations. If you change your mobile device, you need a QR code for new user verification; please contact the Student Affairs Division.
When seated (entering the lecture room): Open the App and tap QR. Scan the QR code marked on your seat, and tap “出勤”. (“出勤” means “Attend”)
When leaving (leaving the lecture room): Open the App and tap QR. Scan the QR code marked on your seat, and tap “退勤”. (“退勤” means “Leave”)
In addition to rooms such as lecture rooms where QR codes are marked on individual seats, there are rooms with small capacity, including laboratories and training rooms, where QR codes are shown only at the entrance.

(*) This is attendance management function of "Mamoru Biz," a service designed for companies, and operated by Colorkrew Co., Ltd. This service has other functions that the university does not subscribe. When opening the app, the word "monthly usage fee" will be displayed on the screen, but you are not charged with the use of the application.
