Prof. Masatoshi SAITO of Graduate School of Health Sciences, Niigata University, was awarded Asia-Oceania Federation of Organizations for Medical Physics (AFOMP) Journal Prize for the best paper published in an AFOMP journal as the first winner on December 1, 2020.
AFOMP was founded in 2000 with a view to promoting medical physics in the Asia and Oceania regions through enhancing the status and practice level of medical physicists as part of a regional group of International Organization of Medical Physics (IOMP). This prize, newly established this year, is to be awarded to the best paper published in the three official AFOMP journals.
