The first Taiwan-Japan University President Forum was held on May 12 at National Cheng Kung University with the cooperation of The Japan Association of National Universities (JANU), Japan Committee of Universities for International Exchange (JACUIE) and Foundation International Cooperation Higher Education of Taiwan (FICHET).
Taking advantage of this opportunity, Niigata University conducted a signing ceremony and concluded exchange agreements with National Cheng Kung University, National Changhua University of Education and National Kaohsiung Normal University. Agreements have already been concluded at the department level and relationships developed. Exchange agreement conclusions with these three universities make a total of six exchange agreements between Niigata University and universities in Taiwan. Further active academic and student exchange are expected in the future.
