Delegates from Lanzhou University in China, including President Wang Cheng, visited Niigata University on Monday, May 22 to exchange Letter of Intent to promote cooperation between the two universities.
Lanzhou University, located in Lanzhou City in Gansu Province, is a university designated by Project985, and has been engaged in research exchange concerning phosphor in the field of engineering with Niigata University. On this day, after an extensive opinion exchange between President Takahashi and President Wang Cheng of Lanzhou University, they signed Letter of Intent that both universities will further deepen their exchanges or cooperation.
Niigata University continues to further promote exchange with leading Chinese universities to further campus globalization, based in the East Asian Rim while looking out towards the world.
