In order to prevent further spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection, Niigata University asks all of our students to cooperate in the following way:

?1? Travel inside and outside of Japan

Please continue to avoid travel out of Niigata prefecture as much as possible until May 31, 2020 although the state of emergency was lifted for Niigata on May 14, 2020.

Particularly, we strongly urge that you refrain from traveling to Hokkaido, Saitama, Chiba, Tokyo, Kanagawa, Kyoto, Osaka, Hyogo, and traveling overseas

2? Job hunting and internship participation

Please refrain from travel out of Niigata prefecture as much as possible for the purpose of job hunting and internship participation.

Particularly, we strongly urge that you refrain from traveling to Hokkaido, Saitama, Chiba, Tokyo, Kanagawa, Kyoto, Osaka, and Hyogo.

3? Request to avoid crowded places

You have been requested not to hold events with a large number of people, such as social gatherings and parties both inside and outside of campus.

As the situation concerning the spread of the novel coronavirus infection is still unpredictable, we strongly urge that you continue to refrain from eating in a group of multiple people as well as gathering at a certain place, such as an apartment.
