The 2024 fall graduation ceremony was held on Friday, September 20 at the Library Hall on Ikarashi Campus. A total of 125 students were awarded degrees: 35 bachelor's degrees, 82 graduate degrees and 8 doctorate degrees by dissertation.
At the ceremony, President USHIKI awarded degrees to the representatives of graduating students receiving bachelor's degrees and graduate degrees.
President Ushiki then congratulated the graduates, saying, “I hope that even after your graduation, you will remember Niigata University’s educational philosophy of “Autonomy and Creativity”, maintain your intellectual curiosity and never forget to keep on learning. I also sincerely hope that you will maintain your bonds with the university wherever you are as you play an active role as frontrunner of future life innovation.” The graduates attended the ceremony with a sobering look on their faces in the presence of family members and faculties.
Congratulations on your graduation. We sincerely hope that all of you will spread your wings and continue to excel with confidence and pride into the future society.
