Niigata University intends to increase face-to-face classes as much as possible for the second term of the first semester for AY 2022, keeping an eye on the infection situation of COVID-19.
How to conduct classes:
?[Classes, such as G-code]
- Classes of 150 students or less are to be conducted face-to-face in principle; however, the number of students should not exceed 50% of normal seating capacity of lecture rooms.
- Classes of 150 students or more are to be conducted non-face-to-face in principle, even if the number of students remains around 50% of normal seating capacity. However, classes will be conducted using a hybrid style that combines both non-face-to-face and face-to-face measures depending on the situation and other factors.
[Classes at Faculty/Graduate School]
- The basic rule is to conduct face-to-face classes with taking infection control measures. In case, however, it is difficult to take infection prevention, the measures of non-face-to-face, or the combination of face-to-face and non-face-to-face classes will be adopted based on the decision by Dean of each Faculty or Graduate School.
